For Healthcare Providers
Effective date: August 4, 2026
These Doctor Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MedPharma Doctor app and your participation in the MedPharma provider network. They form a legally binding agreement between you and Medpharma Alliance International Limited (“MedPharma”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a company registered in Ghana.
By creating a provider account or delivering care through the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
You must hold a current, valid licence or registration with the relevant regulator — for example, the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana, or the Nursing and Midwifery Council, as applicable — and be in good professional standing. You must provide accurate credentials and keep them up to date.
Your account is subject to verification before and during your time on the platform. We may suspend or remove access if your licence lapses, is suspended or revoked, or if we are unable to verify your credentials or standing.
MedPharma operates a telehealth platform that connects patients with independent healthcare professionals. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, you provide care as an independent professional and not as an employee or agent of MedPharma. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or joint-venture relationship.
You are solely and independently responsible for the clinical care and professional decisions you make. MedPharma facilitates connections and provides the technology but does not direct or provide the medical care itself.
As a condition of using the platform, you agree to:
Prescriptions and diagnostic orders you issue through the platform are your clinical decisions. You are responsible for ensuring they are appropriate, lawful, and within your scope of practice, and for complying with all applicable prescribing regulations. Only prescribe where a proper clinical assessment supports it.
The platform's AI features and clinical tools are aids only. They do not replace your professional judgement, and you remain responsible for every decision recorded under your account.
Where you are entitled to earnings for consultations delivered through the platform, they are calculated and paid according to the rates and schedule communicated to you or set out in a separate agreement. MedPharma may deduct applicable platform fees, and you are responsible for your own taxes and statutory contributions.
You are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate payout information. MedPharma is not liable for payments that fail or are delayed because of incorrect details you supplied.
You may not:
You are responsible for the clinical care you provide and should hold appropriate professional indemnity cover for your practice on the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedPharma is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, and our total liability to you for any claim under these Terms is limited to the amount of platform fees or earnings we handled for you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify MedPharma against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or of your professional or legal obligations. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.
You may stop using the platform and request deactivation of your provider account at any time. You remain responsible for completing or safely handing over any care already in progress.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your licence or standing changes, if we receive a credible complaint or regulatory concern, or where necessary to protect patients or the platform. Clinical records you created are retained as required by law after termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will adjust the effective date above and, where the change is material, notify you. Continued use of the platform after the change takes effect counts as acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Accra.
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute. If it cannot be resolved through direct communication, we may agree to alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.
